The word for "grapefruit" in French is possibly the most wonderful word I've ever come across. It is "pamplemousse". Incidently, the only full sentence I can say in French is "je suis un pamplemousse" which means "I am a grapefruit." I'm sure it will be helpful to know if I ever go to France...
